Abstract
Software Defined Network (SDN) is one of the recent trends in computer networks research. One of the issues faced by SDN deployment is the compatibility with the existing network infrastructure. One of them is the ability to handle Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP). This paper's objective is to compare LACP implementation in Software Defined Network between two different SDN controller, Ryu, and Opendaylight. The experiment conducts in Mininet simulation and real hardware experiment. The parameters being observed are aggregation throughput and switchover-time. The results show that Ryu and Opendaylight have nearly the same aggregation throughput. While the switchover-time using Opendaylight is much faster rather than Ryu. © 2019 IEEE.
