Abstract

Previous research that has been done is making a song script with number notation and in plain text and produced LATEX document. But the manuscript cannot handle symbols for song dynamics. Therefore in this study will continue with additional features for dynamics symbols representation of the song which include crescendo, decrescendo, fermata, piano, forte, and fine. This research explores the code to display song dynamics symbols like 'lesser than' followed by open parenthesis and 'lesser than' followed by close parenthesis for the beginning and end of the crescendo. These codes are processed and displayed in song sheets using LATEX and tikz tools because LATEX provide many features in high-quality typesetting system.
