Abstract

A multi-criteria analysis to determine the most suitable renewable energy technology in Tokyo, Japan, is presented in this study. Several criteria have been considered for the analysis including technical, social, economic, and environmental. Sensitivity analysis has been done to check the solidity of the data used in the analysis. The results show that the solar photovoltaic technology is preferred in Tokyo, followed by wind and biomass energy.
