The challenge in developing a tsunami model lies in the limited availability of Digital Elevation Model (DEM) data and data related to tsunami events. According to 1, inundation modeling requires detailed topographic data, ideally with a vertical resolution of less than 0.25 m. Meanwhile, the data currently provided by the government has a contour interval of 12.5 meters. This study aims to analyze tsunami inundation modeling based on earthquake hazards in the subduction zone, supported by high-precision remote sensing techniques. This study is located in part of the coastal area of Bengkulu City, which is situated between two major megathrusts: the Mentawai-Pagai Megathrust and the Mentawai-Enggano Megathrust. This geographical setting results in a high potential for both earthquake and tsunami hazards. The objective of this study is to assess the capability of UAVs in acquiring modeling variables for tsunami inundation potential and to model the tsunami inundation potential. The results of UAV processing are capable of producing DTM and semantic information in the form of detailed land use. The tsunami propagation towards the coast of Bengkulu City had a maximum amplitude of 5.9 meters with a travel time of 25 minutes and then spread in all directions. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
