Abstract
This study aimed to determine the regional sustainability of the healthy Batik Village from social, economic, and ecological perspectives. It was conducted in July 2019 in Kulon Progo, Special Region of Yogyakarta. Furthermore, the survey data were analysed using the RAPFISH ordination technique through the multidimensional scaling (MDS) method. The index and regional sustainability status of the healthy Batik Village were accessed using these methods. It also identified sensitive attributes affecting the sustainability index of social, economic, and ecological dimensions through the leverage analysis. The analysis results showed that the ecological dimension had the lowest index value (23.9) or in the poor category. The social and economic dimensions showed sufficient status with indices of 62.92 and 61.13, respectively. The policy implications for improving the sustainability status from `sufficient' to `good' need to manage the sensitive attributes of these three dimensions.
