Abstract
The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic influences different aspects of society, including tourism. The policy of limiting community activities encourages the closure of various tourist attractions. Alian Butterfly Park is a butterfly breeding park and butterfly education tour. Due to critical conditions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, a visit to this place was limited. This encourages the need for alternative media applications to support butterfly garden educational tours. We developed the Interactive virtual tour application as an alternative medium for potential visitors in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. The virtual tour has two main features that use virtual reality technology: Virtual Tour 360 and Virtual Exhibition 3D. Evaluation of the system is carried out using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) testing to test the user experience. UEQ results obtained Excellent results for aspects of attractiveness, clarity, stimulation, and novelty, and Good results for efficiency and accuracy. The virtual tour lets the manager do promotions, making it easier to introduce the location virtually.
