Abstract
To support education and research activities using the Triga Kartini research reactor, a neutron flux reader connected to the NLW-2 power channel has been built using ESP32. ESP32 is a cheap, multi-functional device that can be used to acquire analog data and convert it into digital data. The construction of the neutron flux reader includes design, calibration, and testing of the device. From the calibration and testing results, an error value of 0.91±0.65 was obtained using the reference voltage source. The neutron flux function y = 176.13e0.0176x is obtained with an absolute difference only 0.03 compared to power reading on NLW-2. © 2024 IEEE.
