Abstract
Dong Tao chickens (2-week-old; n=96) were allocated to four treatments consisting of diets supplemented with four levels of ginger (0, 0.25, 0.5 and0.75). There were linear improvements in daily weight gain and feed conversion, in carcass yield and the proportion of thigh meat in the carcass, asthe level of ginger in the diet was increased from 0 to 0.75.
