Abstract
As an archipelagic nation, Indonesia urgently requires an integrated transportation network to bolster its tourism sector, particularly within designated National Tourism Strategic Areas (KSPN). This study evaluates the integration of transportation services in three prominent KSPNs: Toba Lake, Mandalika, and Labuan Bajo. Utilizing descriptive and quantitative methodologies, the research employs the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI), Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA), and assessments of road network connectivity and accessibility metrics. The findings indicate significant shortcomings in transportation integration, including inadequate multimodal connectivity, irregular service scheduling, limited dissemination of transportation information, and unclear regulatory guidance. Gamma index analysis revealed moderate connectivity in Toba Lake (0.471) and Mandalika (0.489), whereas Labuan Bajo exhibited notably low connectivity (0.296), reflecting substantial infrastructure and service deficiencies. Furthermore, tourists expressed dissatisfaction with current service performance, emphasizing the urgent need to improve transportation quality and consistency. Addressing these challenges, the research recommends establishing comprehensive minimum service standards that enhance multimodal connectivity, ensure regular and reliable service schedules, provide accessible and timely transportation information, clarify and standardize regulatory frameworks, and implement advanced technology-driven information systems. These guidelines aim to assist policymakers and stakeholders in developing sustainable, efficient, and integrated tourism transportation solutions. Ultimately, enhancing transportation integration is essential not only for enriching visitor experiences but also for fostering sustainable regional economic growth and improving the overall competitiveness of Indonesia�s diverse and dynamic tourism destinations. © IJASEIT is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 4.0 International License.
