Abstract

Stunting has become quite a focus in Salatiga City, including in sustainable development. The stunting could be a damage and problem in sustainable development. Toddlers and babies with stunting conditions could grow and have the risk of a lack of cognitive development. Stunting in Salatiga City uses object determinants of height and age with a very short index based on the measurement every month. By using qualitative methods and in-depth interviews, urban areas have many factors from early pregnancy until the infection disease and illness from their cleanliness. The findings suggest intervention and prevention by parents and the environment could help to line down the risk of stunted. The intervention could be giving exclusive breastfeeding, making more meals based on the doctor's receipt, also cleaning the environment of toddlers and having friend to go in integrated health center.
