Abstract

The provision of public service facilities in settlement and regional environments is the right of the community to support a decent life and livelihood also to improve the quality of life. Therefore, the availability of health facilities must be considered so that every Indonesian can obtain their right to health services. This study aims to analyze the availability of health service facilities and the service function of health facilities in Yogyakarta Special Province. As a differentiator with previous research, the researcher conducted a analyze comprehensively by combining analysis of the centrality index and the service function to determine the hierarchy of health service centers. The location of this research is in the Yogyakarta Special Province with the smallest area analysis unit is the sub-district. The results showed that the availability of low order goods health service facilities was generally fulfilled in all sub-districts of Yogyakarta Special Province. Cities are still areas of high concentration of health services, this is reinforced by the highest centrality index and hierarchy of health facilities in Yogyakarta City. © The Authors, published by EDP Sciences.
