Abstract

One of the impacts in the gloomy times since the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019 is that almost all activities are carried out from home using laptops and smartphones connected to the internet. This impact occurs in almost all countries in the world, including Indonesia. Another impact is that payment transaction activities have changed from physical money to virtual money using financial technology applications. The contactless payment system was the main priority for consumers in making transactions, one of which was using a digital wallet. In Indonesia, many types of digital wallets operate such as GO-Pay, OVO, ShopeePay, DANA, LinkAja, etc. The maturity of the FinTech sector is not only from the increasing number of users but also from maintaining user loyalty in using applications, one of which is evaluating the user experience side. This paper aims to review methods of assessing aspects that affect the user experience (UX) of the digital wallet mobile application, especially Indonesian digital wallets. In addition, it will also discuss the collection and validation of the data used and provide input for further research in the future. There were 19 recent studies from 2016 to 2020 about the user experience of digital wallet mobile apps. The results of this research are expected to help researchers and practitioners in related studies to do more development. © 2021 IEEE.
