Abstract

Gamification has become a popular issue in recent years in various industries, including manufacturing. Gamification for Manufacturing, or GfM, has the ability to improve workers' psychological well-being while also increasing productivity. In the age of Industry 5.0, GfM is one of the best solutions for achieving the revolution's basic value, which is human-centric. However, there is currently a lack of research that describes how GfM is implemented in Industry 5.0. As a result, this research aims to determine the most successful element design and the benefits and obstacles of GfM implementation in Industry 5.0. An analytical analysis of the relevant paper was performed to suggest a framework for implementing GfM in Industry 5.0 based on three core values, including human-centric, sustainable, and resilient factors. Professionals and researchers are expected to use the framework and move the manufacturing sector into a new era. © 2024 IEEE.
