Abstract

Research has focused on studied and re-design every part in electric road sweeper cabin that related to ergonomic. Ergonomic of cabin has design with appropriate of function as a road cleaner. Design and Ergonomic analysis used an anthropometry data of Indonesian. Further, the ergonomic analysis used RULA (Rapid Upper Limb Assessment) method. Smaller RULA's point indicate the better ergonomics. The score of RULA analysis on the cabin of electric road sweeper in this project is 4. Ergonomic's analysis has been conducted with two participant with classification in sex gender. Subject A is a man with 177 cm height and subject B is a woman with 156 cm height that means all of participant in the scoop of middle size body or 50th percentile. Slider is a new addition feature in the re-design. Slider has added to accomodate body size variation and improved ergonomic in the cabin. Stress on the slider has analysed with a von misses method. Safety factor point of structure is measure with the weight of subject A on the slider, and the result is 5, 6 which means the structure is safe to use. © 2019 IEEE.
