Abstract

Perovskite solar cells are an attractive type of solar cell for development due to their simplicity of manufacture and competitive efficiency. One of the essential components of PSC fabrication is hole transport material. This study aims to fabricate perovskite solar cells using nickel oxide (NiO) and graphene oxide (GO). The spin coating technique is used in the experiment to know the impact of mixing NiO and GO in perovskite solar cells. The perovskite layer morphology was tested by Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). The results of this experiment showed that the PSC utilizing NiO/GO material yields a smaller pore size than NiO. In addition, the spin coating process affects the power conversion energy value, with the highest PCE value obtained at 15.3% at 1000 rpm.
