Abstract

The increasing number of PV installations in In-donesia may be the cornerstone for implementing new microgrids in certain locations within the distribution system, such as Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). In this research, the transient stability of the proposed model for UGM's microgrid system is analyzed. The model is simulated three times with three different cases to analyze its stability. This research will also study the impact of renewable energy penetration by replacing diesel generators with PV systems. This research intends to be the base research for the future development of Universitas Gadjah Mada's microgrid implementation using alternative energy and energy resources.
